Versacoat HF is a multi-functional high performance 2-in-1 product that servces as an emulsifier and wetting agent in oil-based fluids. This organic surfactant was designed and chemically formulated with a higher flash point for use in areas that require this safety feature. Versacoat HF primarily functions as a wetting agent and secondary emulsifier when used in a conventional, low fluid-loss, high-lime fluid systems and is compatible in diesel or mineral oil base fluids. Versacoat oil-wets weighing agents and drill solids to prevent water-wet solids from occuring while also improving thermal stability, rheological stability, filtration coltrol and emulsion stability.
