Description

Fluid Inclusion Stratigraphy

The Fluid Inclusion Stratigraphy (FIS) analysis rapidly evaluates the entire borehole for the abundance, distribution, and composition of hydrocarbon and nonhydrocarbon species trapped in inclusions in cuttings. FIS analysis is applicable to any lithology or reservoir on material of any age, providing information for 500+ samples at a time. Interpretation of results are based upon decades of experience and evaluation of several million samples from virtually every depositional environment on every continent. List pricing includes sample preparation and interpretation. Initial results available approximately 1 week from receipt with final report including inclusion petrography in 5 weeks.

PetroFecta

Unique approach combining the FIS methodology with the high speed XRF elemental profile (PDQ-XRF), and high resolution photography (RockEye) over the entire wellbore from samples of any age. PDQ-XRF provides the lithologic/stratigraphic framework into which the formation fluid chemistry can be placed with the evaluation of more than 30 major, minor, and trace elements. The RockEye platform adds high resolution photographic images of the lithology in both visible light & UV fluorescence providing a permanent record of each sample along with the lithostratigraphic context of the volatile chemistry and chemical stratigraphy trends over the entire column. List pricing includes sample preparation and interpretation. Initial results available approximately 1 week from receipt with final report including inclusion petrography in 5 weeks.

Multi-Client Study

Provides clients access to existing fluid inclusion stratigraphy data on thousands of wells from 50+ basins around the world. Multi-client studies include at least FIS, Inclusion Petrography, and Microthermometry available in digital LAS and PDF formats. Shared cost scenarios for multiple participating clients and new regional studies can also be accomodated upon client request. List pricing is per well and includes basic interpretation. Existing studies are delivered in 24-48 hours.

Transportation: Price assumes customer responsibility for delivery of samples to RSA Laboratories.
